Sectoral Workforce Committees
The Commission des partenaires du marché du travail (CPMT) supports 30 sector-based workforce committees composed of representatives of employer associations, business and industry, trade unions and labour associations in each of the target sectors of economic activity.
The committees also include representatives of government departments and agencies involved in the target sectors.
The committees’ main responsibilities consist in defining the needs in their specific sectors, recommending means for stabilizing employment and reducing unemployment, and developing lifelong learning.
