Apprenticeship and qualification

The mandate of the Direction de l'apprentissage is to promote the development and recognition of the competence of the workforce to answer the needs of the labour market.

Mandate

• Manage the Qualification Plan, the Apprenticeship Program and Regulated Professional Qualifications;
• Administer the Interprovincial Standards "Red Seal" Program to promote mobility in the workforce;
• Devise notebooks and guides for the introduction of new occupations within the Qualification Plan;
• Devise and administer qualification exams for apprentices of regulated occupations;
• Provide the support and consulting expertise pertaining to management of optional and regulated plans to all the regions.
