The Multiservice Room

An Employment Clearinghouse

Do you want information on the labour market? Need a place to write your résumé? All local employment centres (CLE) have a multiservice room for people seeking to enter or re-enter the job market. This room is equipped with a host of tools to facilitate your job search.

What you will find in the multiservice room

• Documentation on the regional labour market, in-demand trades and occupations, the skills employers are looking for, employment trends in the various economic sectors, hiring conditions in your region and Québec as a whole.
• Telephones, fax machines, computers, printers and photocopiers that you can use to contact potential employers or write your résumé or letters of application.
• Bulletin boards posting information on job openings, upgrading courses, services offered in your community, practical advice on how to find a job, etc.
• Display stands with information brochures on Emploi-Québec measures and services.

In the multiservice room, you can also consult the job bank and post applications on job-search sites such as Online Placement, one of the free services offered by Emploi-Québec.

N.B. Due to the heavy use of computers, we recommend that you ask the CLE staff to specify the best time to find a free computer.
