Practical Help in Finding a Job
Are you looking for a job? If you are eligible for the Employment
Services measure, you can
- attend information sessions on the labour market;
- receive career advice and counselling services;
- participate in job search assistance (including the job search club
approach) and job placement assistance activities.
You are eligible if
- you receive Employment Insurance benefits;
- you receive employment-assistance benefits;
- you are unemployed and do not receive public income support;
- you are employed or in school and are in need of employment
services.
Duration of assistance
Varies according to participants’ needs, but generally less than 180
hours
